Welcome to my therapy practice website, serving LGBT individuals and couples in the greater Washington, DC Metropolitan area, including Montgomery County, Frederick County, Baltimore County, and other surrounding Maryland counties, as well as Arlington, Alexandria and many Northern Virginia communities. The new InterCounty Connector (ICC) makes travel to my location easy and convenient. I am accessible to the I95/495 Beltway from almost anywhere in the Washington, DC region.
You are now ready to make positive changes in your life. By exploring the issues that may have held you back in the past, you can open doors to many possibilities. The overall goals are for you to be happy, satisfied, and empowered, which will allow your true self to flourish and grow.
Throughout this interactive process, I will act as your guide, be supportive, and help you examine where you have been and where you want to go. If you are dealing with issues such as: homophobia, coming out, grief, addictions, or other life issues, then you are not alone. Also, if you and your partner are experiencing communication and other relationship issues, we can compassionately address them as well.
Take your time and review the information in this site or please

Thank you for your interest in the practice, but like everyone else, we need time to get away from it all. This year, the office will be closed from August 1 - August 10, 2015.
If you need routine therapy assistance during this time or you have a matter that requires immediate attention, please contact Lorraine Biros, LCPC at (301) 943-1444.
However, if you are experiencing a LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY and require IMMEDIATE assistance, please call either 911, your psychiatrist or physician, or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
